StreamrTV Feature Drop: Chat, Reactions, and SuperBalloons Now Live

The next phase of decentralized streaming is here — with real-time chat, viewer reactions, and SuperBalloons to support your favourite broadcasters now available on StreamrTV.
This release opens the door for monetization, retention, and deeper community interaction — bringing StreamrTV closer to a creator-first, super app streaming experience.
What’s in MVP2?
💬 Live Chat
Chat with the broadcaster and other viewers directly from the stream. Creators — engage with your audience in real-time. Audiences, let your streamer know what you want to see.
On mobile, it's an overlay view only for now, with full panel support coming later.
🎈 SuperBalloons (via Stripe)
Purchase SuperBalloons to show support for your favourite broadcasters or organisations. These celebratory animations float across the stream — a fun, expressive way to appreciate live content and reward your favourite broadcasters.
Creators can build merchant profiles and configure their payment settings to offer SuperBalloons. But this is optional, meaning you can stream and watch without an account if you choose.
💙 Floating Heart Reactions
Tap the 💙 button during a stream to send animated hearts flying across the video, visible to both the broadcaster and other viewers.
